Potato Meatballs

Simple juicy meatball recipe without breadcrumbs. The potatoes will keep your meatballs moist and act as binder for the mixture. I like to dip them in mustard and eat them like they are or you add them to your tomato sauce with spaghetti.

Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef/pork
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 small potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Put your ground beef/pork into a bowl.
  2. Grate your potato on the finest setting and squeeze out the liquid. Add them to you your meat.
  3. Grate your onion and garlic and add to your meat.
  4. Add your egg to a small bowl and scramble it. Once scrambles add to the meat.
  5. Season your meat and mix it thoroughly by hand until everything is evenly dispersed.
  6. Form 20 little meatballs out of your mixture.
  7. Add some oil to your pan and fry them for about 10 minutes. Turn them halfway.
  8. Let them cool down or add them to your favorite sauce.
