Quick and easy pizzasticks to make for game nights or when you feel like eating a little pizza without ordering a whole pizza. Best served cold since they will be soft, if they are still hot. This is the ultimate lazy snack you can make and on top of it has pizza flavor.

Ingredients for Pizzasticks

Puff Pastry: Since this is a lazy recipe, we will use store bought frozen puff pastry and there is now shame in doing so. It’s quick and takes no effort to thaw out.

Poppy seeds: You can find them in any store. I like to use poppy seeds for my pizza sticks, since they add some color contrast and some little crunch.

Sugar: I use white sugar for the tomato sauce to counteract the acidity from the tomatoes and because we are not cooking down the sauce enough to sweeten.

Coarse Salt: As mentioned in my other recipes, i like to season my dishes with coarse sea salt. It will always beat the taste of table salt.

Garlic: Three garlic cloves should be more then enough for this sauce, but some may add more. Do as you please my friend. 🙂

Black Pepper: On this one I use ground black pepper, since I don’t like biting into a chunk of pepper.

Some of you may see that there is no cheese on top of those sticks. I just wanted some pizza flavor, but you can add cheese to it. Watch the pizza sticks closely, because they will burn faster with cheese on top.
