Introducing fried eggs with garlicky fries! They are a people pleaser at my house and fill those hungry tummies quickly. This does contain garlic and you can either cook it for your family and especially your foes! 🙂

This recipe is my husbands favorite dish, besides that he loves fries and eggs. From all the food I have cooked for him, this is his number one favorite. It is a simple recipe, which you can make it quickly in a fryer or bake it in the oven.

Over time I have added my own seasoning to the fries for better taste. I want them to taste like those delicious fries from restaurants or at least like take out food. You will not be disappointed with the taste once you try it out.

The only complaint is that with it’s popularity in my family, meant for me to peel a lot of potatoes. You might be on the same boat and to make one step less time consuming is to buy I fry cutter. Worth the investment and the thickness of the potatoes will be almost the same. Good luck! 🙂

Fried Eggs with Garlicky Fries Ingredients

Potatoes: You can use Yukon Gold potatoes or russet potatoes for your fries. What is important is how much starch is in it. The Russet potato is perfect for fries.

Eggs: I use medium sized eggs.

Garlic: The garlic from the garden are more potent than store bought ones, so if you use those you want to either increase or decrease the quantity.

Oil: A neutral oil works the best for this, like vegetable oil.

Fried Eggs with Garlicky Fries

Who doesn’t like fries and eggs? Don’t look further, if you want some fried eggs with delicious garlicky fries. This recipe is a family favorite and is a must try for you as well. You can always buy a bag of frozen fries, but I tell you that this alone will make you not want to buy those again.

You can choose to fry the potatoes in oil, but for this recipe I preferred to bake these in the oven. I thought of these fries a lot, since restaurant fries always tasted so good, that I wanted it for myself.

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 35 Big Potatoes
  2. 4 Garlic Cloves
  3. 1 Bush of Parsley
  4. 1 Tablespoon Salt
  5. 3 Tablespoons of Oil

Instructions

Fries

  • Peel and wash your potatoes and cut them into small fries. Optionally you can use this handy fries cutter to save some time.
  • Drizzle some oil unto your fries to coat them and put them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake your fries for 30 min at 425 F ( I occasionally open the oven door to let out the steam, since I want them to crisp up)

Marinate

  • While your potatoes are baking you can prepare the seasoning for your fries and place them into a metal bowl.
  • Add your chopped parsley, oil, minced or crushed garlic and salt to your bowl and mix them together.
  • Once your fries are cooked and crispy, you add them to your bowl of seasoning and toss them like a professional. 🙂
  • Serve them with 2 fried eggs ( I like them to be runnier in the middle, so that I can dip those fries in!)

Notes

You don’t have to add fried eggs to this recipe, since the fried can stand on their own. Any type of meat can be added to your liking,
