The best part of making scones is the nice smell they bring to anyone’s house. I enjoy the taste of it a lot since it will freshen up my morning with the taste of lemon and cranberries. Pair these scones with some jam or a dollop of cream. They are fluffy and not too sweet and you should eat them while they are warm. Either way they taste amazing!
Cranberry-Lemon Scones Ingredients
Cranberry-Lemon scones doesn’t have many ingredients and is very simple to make. The nice part about these scones is the variety you can create. Instead of cranberries and lemon, you can choose to put in chocolate chips with orange. Most of the ingredients are found in your pantry and this dish is quickly made. The scones are not meant to taste overly sweet because you serve them with butter, yam and other yummy ingredients.
Here are some of the ingredients you need:
Flour: I just go for normal flour from the store, no cake flour or bread flour.
Sugar: Just use white granulated sugar for this recipe.
Cranberries: I got dried cranberries from Lidl, but you should be able to find them in Walmart and other grocery stores.
Lemons: Since you are using the rind of a lemon, make sure to wash them well. Are you concerned for pesticides on your lemon, then buy them organic.
Heavy Cream: Please use heavy cream for this recipe, we are not on a diet here and want to have a buttery taste for those cranberry-Lemon scones.
Butter: Use unsalted butter for this recipe.
